About this development
Construction of a 40-bed boutique hotel, as part of the mother and child medical facility, which will provide comprehensive maternal, paediatric and neonatal care services, in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. The proposed development could also include a 147-bed hospital providing specialised mother and child health care, a 50-bed stepdown facility and 20 medium density on-site staff apartments. It is anticipated that the hospital will incorporate a high care and intensive care unit (including neonatal intensive care); maternity unit; paediatrics unit; casualty / trauma unit; short stay facility; and a surgical unit. Supporting services will include radiology and pathology, a fertility / embryology unit, ambulance service, a pharmacy, coffee shop and consulting suites. There will be overnight facilities available for families, a mother and child concept shop, and adequate parking. This Project is in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
