About this development
Construction of the Mokolo Solar 2 photovoltaic facility located on Farm Pyppan No. 326LQ approximately 43km west of the town of Lephalale in the Limpopo Province. This facility will include PV modules and mounting structures, inverters and transformers, battery energy storage system, site and internal access roads (up to 8m wide), operation and maintenance buildings including a gate house and security building, control centre, offices, warehouses and workshops for storage and maintenance. The facility will have a contracted capacity of up to 240MW and cover approximately 543ha. The location is 23°43'47.9"S 27°18'26.5"E
