About this development
Development of the Mokolo Crocodile Water Augmentation Project (MCWAP), in the Limpopo Province. The MCWAP will comprise of 2 phases. The first phase will entail the construction of a pump station and possibly a 81km, 1m diameter pipeline, which will deliver up to 40 million cubic metres of water a year from the Mokolo dam to the Medupi Power Station and the surrounding areas. Phase 1 construction cost : R13.4-billion.
