The Mofe Creek is located with one of Liberia's historic premier iron ore mining district in West Africa. The project is 10km along strike from the abandoned Bomi Hill mine, 80km along strike from the historic Mong mine, 45km from the Mono River mine. The project is also only 20km from the coast, meaning the most likely development would be the construction of a haul road for trucking of product to the coast. The initial capex required for first production is estimated at $52.9 million including a 20% contingency.
