About this development
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport proposes to upgrade 10km of existing gravel road P127 to a tar surface. In addition, the realignment of the road and other design considerations necessitates the demolition and reconstruction of the existing bridge crossing over the Mkomazi River. There is a 3% road deviation from the existing route along the proposed bridge reconstruction. Stormwater control methods include the use of pipe culverts with pipe diameters of 0.6m. The proposed road upgrade is located between Impendle and Himeville, uMgungundlovu District Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal.
