Construction of the Miritini – Kipevu Link Road and Moi International Airport access road in Mombasa County, Kenya. The subject road section is part of the port area road links to A109 and A14, international highways which connect Mombasa to neighboring countries. Major items of works include; earthworks; provision of sub-base using cement improved graded crushed stone; provision of base using dense bitumen macadam; provision of surfacing using asphalt concrete with surface dressing; construction of interchanges; construction of new culverts, box culverts and bridges; other drainage improvements as specified; construction of facilities for non-motorised traffic; construction of facilities for socio-economic enhancement and roadside amenities; construction of service roads; HIV/AIDS mitigation measures and road safety improvement measures.
