About this development
Relocation and upgrade of Mhlabatshane Water Treatment Works. The proposed WTW will have a capacity of 8 ml/day that will consist of two 4 ml/day phases. The WTW will consist of an abstraction point from the Mhlabatshane Dam and deposited into the inlet works, a dosing plant, coagulation and flocculation channel, clarification and filtration units as well as associated infrastructure. The proposed activity is located slightly above the existing reservoir and water office in Pungashe, KwaZulu-Natal.
