About this development
Completion of the upgrading of the Meyerton waste water treatment works by 15 ML/day in Meyerton, Gauteng. R220 million. The scope of works could include: Cleaning up the whole wastewater treatment works site. Completing the following water retaining structures: Head of Works (HOW), raw sewage water pump station, biological nutrient reactor (BNR), secondary settling tank (SST), irrigation pump station, WAS pump station, alterations to the existing RAS pump station and final outflow channel to the chlorine contact tank. The scope includes various pipelines and completion of the following buildings: MCC at the HOW, guard house, administration building, workshop, blower building, WAS building and FeCl dosing building. The exact GPS co-ordinates are 26°34'57.00"S, 27°58'11.00"E.
