Expansion of the Menlyn Park Shopping Centreh. Phase 1 includes the construction of the following components : Pick n Pay 4 022m², Checkers Hyper 12 709m², Food Lovers Market 4 036m², House & Home 4 664m², New World Electronics 2 112m², Line Shops 1 005m², malls and ablutions, 4 945m², delivery yards and plant rooms 6763m², basement parking 24 993m², conversion of fast foods to fashion offerings 1 089m² as well as a temporary mall 13 000m². Pase 2 will consist of demolition of the old Hyper Zone 34 300m², construction of new retail portion 55 400m², upgrade of existing mall 15 572 m² and demolition of the temporary mall. Value of the entire refurbishment is R2 Billion.
