About this development
MagIndustries intends to construct, own, and operate a potash plant for which the first phase capacity will be 600 000 t/y. Fifty production wells will be required for the start of mining operations to support the first phase. A 28km pipeline, about 40cm in width will also be constructed to bring gas to the plant to meet its processing and energy requirements. The Mengo Project is located near the village of Mengo, 25 kilometers east of the Atlantic port city of Pointe-Noire, in the Republic of Congo. Estimated project value: $1,27 billion.
