About this development
Construction of the proposed Melkajilo - Awash Expressway in Ethiopia. The project road begins from MelkaJilo at km 60 and traverses part of Amora-Bet Kebele, and other Kebeles such as Ilala, Dhega Hedu, Kobo and Benti in Fentale Woreda of Oromia region, then traverses the Awash National Park, traverses two Kebeles of Gobel and Seblel in Awash Fantale Woreda and Kusura Kebele in Amibar Woreda and ends at 127+400km on Mille – Djibouti junction road. The length of the main Expressway is approximately 67.4km. The exact GPS location is not known and the Marker has been placed at Kobo, 9.37694, 41.47414680000001.
