Melcom Limited Store Expansion

Construction and development of 22 new stores of approximately 128,000m² retail space (EDGE certified), on Melcom Group Head Office, Second Palace Link, Accra, Ghana. The total project cost is US$61 million. Scope of works could include: (i) the development of 22 new stores built on Melcom’s existing land bank. (ii) installation of 5-6MW of rooftop PVC solar across 22 stores, (ii) expand warehousing and storage assets (including cold-rooms) to support its own retail operations, as well as its wholesale operations to smaller retailers (iv) upgrade of the company’s e-commerce platform, IT systems, and operational systems (.i.e.; storage, handling, delivery, etc.) to support its expansion.
