About this development
Construction of an ancillary medical building located immediately adjacent to the Netcare Alberton Hospital, connected by a fully-enclosed link bridge, enabling easy, free-flowing access between the hospital and this building within the Newmarket Precinct at Newmarket Park in Alberton, Gauteng. This building will include a 24 bed, 3 theatre day hospital with a planned 32 bed rehabilitation facility to follow. Thus far, suites have been allocated to practitioners in the field of radiology, renal dialysis, pathology, physiotherapy, audiology, dietetics, biokinetics and prosthetics. Currently there are still opportunities for healthcare practitioners, including amongst others, psychologists, psychiatrists, chiropractors, dentists, ophthalmologists, and many more, including for a pharmacy practice to join the growing ranks of experts and to form part of this industry changing facility. There are future plans to incorporate 12 fully-furnished apartments, providing convenient overnight accommodation for family members visiting to be close to their loved ones.
