The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Mbarara - Nkenda and Tororo - Lira Transmission Lines Project. Lot 1: Construction of 260km Double Circuit 132KV Tororo-Lira Transmission line; Lot 2: Construction of 160km 132 KV Double Circuit Mbarara-Nkenda transmission line and associated substations including reactive power compensation. Estimated project value : US$15 million
