Construction of the Matjiesfontein Space Tracking Facility for the South African National Space Agency, located near Matjiesfontein, Western Cape. The contract value is R 170 839 276,00. The work for the new ground station will consist of: The construction of three new buildings, including a main operations building, a generator house, and an entrance gate and guard house; the installation of new site 11kv electrical and fibre reticulation interconnecting the various buildings and antenna sites; and new civil infrastructure packages including a new gravel road network and water, sewer, and stormwater reticulation.
