Construction of the Matjhabeng 400 MW solar photovoltaic plant with 80 MW battery energy storage system, located south of Odensdaalrus in the Free State. The proposed utility will be developed in two phases: Phase 1: 200MW PV with 40MW BESS on the project site located south of Odensdaalrus; Phase 2: 200MW PV with 40MW BESS on the project site located north of Odensdaalrus.
