About this development
Construction of the Masa Ngwedi 765kV and 400kV transmission lines in Limpopo. The scope of work includes the following: Access roads and infrastructure; bush clearing; tower foundations and stay wire foundations; fabrication and hoisting of structural steel transmission towers; installation of hardware, conductors and insulators; tower assembly, stringing and labeling; conductor regulation; a fall arrest system (FAS). Section B - Construction of 40 km of 400kV transmission power line; construction of 40 km of 765kV transmission power line.
