About this development
Construction of a new 400kV power line that will connect the Marble Hall / Wolwekraal substation to the Steelpoort substation, Limpopo Province. The Marble Hall to Steelpoort power line will supply power to the Steelpoort Pumped Storage Scheme to ensure that water is pumped to the upper dam during pumping condition. The Duvha Steelpoort substation used to supply power to the Steelpoort PSS but that connection line has now been disconnected.
