Construction of 3 residential buildings for a social housing scheme located on Erf 3525 & 3526, Extension 14, corner of Eskia Mphahlele Street and Johannes Ramokhoase Streets, Marabastad, west of Pretoria, Gauteng. The scope of works includes the construction of a 4, 7 and 8 level building to comprise of 509 apartment units in total. As well as bulk services, foundations, the superstructure, installation of aluminium windows and the relevant glazing, installation of finishes throughout the building including floor finishes, wall finishes and ceilings. Installation of fittings throughout the building, including sanitary fittings and kitchen units. Electrical installation including new transformer and switchgear, CCTV and access control, lightning protection and satellite TV. Fire protection installation including building evacuation, storage tanks and pumps, hydrants and hose reels. Wet Services installation including hot water generation, heat pumps, all water supply, waste water and soil drainage installations. Mechanical installation consisting of lifts. Installation of roofs, tiled and flat roof with waterproofing. External works of new paving, fencing and landscaping. Provision of refuse areas, drying yards and wash lines.
