Construction of a large multi-purpose dam located at Mapai in the Limpopo Basin in Mozambique. The Government of Republic of Mozambique has applied for grant funds from the African Water Facility (AWF) and the Fund for African Private Sector Program (FAPA) toward the cost of the feasibility studies for the dam. Value: US$ 700 million. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -22.8519483; long: 31.9672182.
