Construction of Mampuru Bulk Water Scheme Phase 1C pipelines, Sekhukhune District Municipality, Limpopo. Value of the project: R129 263 425.00. This entails the construction of the following elements: Rising main from the pumpstation to Kalkfontein, 8.7km long, DN250 steel pipe. Gravity line from Kalkfontein to Mampuru, 17.8km long, DN200 steel pipe. Kalkfontein reservoir A offtake pipeline, 0.41km long, DN100 steel pipe. Kalkfontein reservoir B offtake pipeline, 1.05km long, DN80 steel pipe. Tsakane reservoir offtake (and gravity) pipeline, 0.77km long, DN80 steel pipe. Mampuru Extension reservoir offtake (and gravity) pipeline, 0.5km long, DN80 steel pipe. Mampuru reservoir offtake (and gravity) pipeline, 5km long, 250 mm dia steel pipe. Cathodic protection and alternating current induction mitigation. Six road crossings by trench method. Four road crossings by directional horizontal drilling and two river crossings by directional horizontal drilling. The works are to be conducted along various routes leading to and from 4 different sites, which are situated in the villages of Kalkfontein, Tsakane, Mampuru Extension and Mampuru. The Kalkfontein site is situated in close proximity to coordinates 24°53'3.32"S, 30°4'15.24"E and can be accessed from provincial road, D212. The Tshkane site is situated in close proximity to coordinates 24°51'42.34"S, 30°2'32.47"E and can be accessed from provincial road, D1392. The Mampuru Extension site is situated in close proximity to coordinates 24°50'40.91"S, 30°3'34.77"E and can be accessed from provincial road, D1392. The Mampuru site is situated in close proximity to coordinates 24°47'31.23"S, 30°5'54.98"E and can be accessed from provincial road, D1392. The GPS marker has been placed at the Kalkfontein site 24°53'03.3"S 30°04'15.2"E
