Construction of the phase 2 expansion for the Malindi International Airport in Kenya. The expansion will involve extension of the runway from the current 1.5km to 2.5km as well as renovation works. Project cost estimated at $55 million. The scope of works for the proposed project includes the following: The runway rehabilitation works to bitumen surfacing, site clearing, runway earthworks to detail, gravel sub-base, base and wearing course construction, bituminous surface treatment and surface dressing, marking and signage. Fencing (chain link and barbed wire fence) and associated crash gates. Storm water drainage works.
