The proposed site is approximately 6 000m² and is located near Thengwe Tribal Offices and Robert Mbulungeni Secondary, about 41km from Thohoyandou. The site is vacant tribal land that was previously used as a sports ground for the adjacent school. The filling station will have underground fuel tanks with a storage capacity of 161 000 litres.
