About this development
Construction works for the rebuild of Makro at 5 Brayford Road, Campsdrift, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. The project involves the construction of bases and ground beams for the foundation, a concrete surface bed with a structural steel frame, a steel roof with a metal roof covering, and three mezzanine concrete floors. Internal areas are made up of brickwork and partitions with vinyl, tiles and carpets for floor finishes and the ceilings consist of suspended ceilings and skimmed ceilings.The internal wall finishes entailing plastering, paint, and some tiled areas. The building will have complete electrical, mechanical and fire systems installed. External works consist of new stormwater and sewer reticulation, parking & paving, and hardstand areas. The external envelope consists of brickwork and side cladding. The GPS co-ordinates are 29°37'33.3"S 30°22'26.2"E
