Madeira Access Road, Phase 01

Construction of Madeira access road, Phase 1 located in Madeira Villages about 58km east of Tzaneen in Maruleng Local Municipality of Mopani District Municipality in Limpopo Province. Value of contract R55 437 115.18. The total length to be upgraded in this contract is 3 streets with an approximately total length of 5.183km and the work will be divided in two sections, section A will be the length of 3.239km that the work will cover all the activities and section B will only be to a length of 1.944km that will cover the work left by the previous contractor. Section A: Madeira access road with a total length of 3.239km, width of 6.50m and associated stormwater drainage system. The work will include the upgrading of the one T-junction (D21, RAL intersection connection) next to Sekororo Hospital. The contract shall cover the upgrading form gravel to interlock paving block and tar at D21 intersection. Section B: (1) Base correction and stabilizing the base, installing of pre-cast concrete kerbs and the edge breaks, construction of 20mm sifted river sand and 80mm interlocking paving blocks. Wing walls around the culvert structures. Section B: (2) Covers the sidewalks and wing walls around culvert Structures.
