About this development
Emirates Gas LLC and JV partner Corridor Gas & Oil Terminal, proposes to construct a new Mounded Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) bulk storage terminal with LPG handling facilities at the Luderitz port in Namibia. The project involves the construction of the following facilities: Design & installation of 8" NB buried LPG Liquid pipeline with 3 LPE coating and Impressed cun-ent cathodic protection from the berth to terminal including LPG receipt facility at the berth; design, fabrication and erection of Mounded LPG Bulk storage vessels (3 x 1,000 MT capacity; approx. 7 M dia x 52 M long) at the terminal; design, procurement & installation of LPG handling facility consisting of pumps and compressors at the terminal; LPG tank truck Loading facility with 2 bays and batch controller based loading; engineering, procurement & installations of DG sets, air compressors, fresh water systems; installation of firewater network, gas detectors, firewater tanks and firewater pumps (UL Listed); construction of control room cum office building, MCC room, miscellaneous buildings, roads and other civil works; associated electrical & instrumentation work including control system for the terminal operations and safety.
