About this development
Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited (KPLC) in partnership with Kenya Pipeline Company Limited (KPC) is to construct an LPG import handling, storage, loading and bottling facility to be located in Mombasa, Kenya. The proposed facility will include the following components: LPG import handling facility; LPG transfer pipeline from the jetty to Changamwe, Mombasa; Mounded bulk LPG Storage Facility with a capacity of 6,700MT at Changamwe, Mombasa; Rail and road loading facilities at Changamwe, Mombasa; Cylinder filing plant at Changamwe, Mombasa; Associated electrical, mechanical, controls, telecommunication, safety and civil works. Estimated project value : $13 million.
