Lonmin Social Responsibility: Hostel upgrades, Renovations and K4 Training Centre

The project involves the conversion and renovation of Lonmin's hostels for mine employees, the renovations and alterations for the EPL ABET (Adult Basic Education Training) Centre and the construction of the K4 training centre which involves the construction of 3 buildings training centre, admin block and learning facility located at its Marikana operation in Rustenburg in the North West province. This forms part of Lonmin's social responsibility programme. A total of 26 blocks will be converted, 13 at Eastern Platinum and 13 at Western Platinum. This will be done in various phases over the next few years.
