Construction of an additional 24 000 m² at the Liberty Promenade located on AZ Berman Drive, in the central part of Mitchells Plain, Western Cape. The expansion of a new entertainment wing - including Ster Kinekor cinemas, new stores and additional ‘meet, greet & eat’ facilities, will form part of this expansion. A 5 500 m² extension to Pick ‘n Pay will result in this store becoming a Pick ‘n Pay Hyper, making it one of their largest stores in the Western Cape area. Apart from the extension to the current shopping centre, purpose-built units for small business traders will be constructed. Estimated value R450-million.
