Upgrading of Lethabong Waste Treatment Works and installation of sewer reticulation system in Lethabong for Phase D in Rustenburg, North West. The contract value is R140 727 582.32.The contract comprises the civil engineering construction of concrete water retaining structures, building works, interconnecting pipework, general site works, and the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. The main works are as listed: Site clearance and excavations. Construction of a new biological reactor (anaerobic zone). Interconnecting pipework, manholes and boxes. 4 off vertical shaft mixers. 1 off return activated sludge pumps. Knife-gate valve. 1 off 19 m final clarifier with mechanical equipment. Adjustable weirs, sluice gates and handstops. Flow meters, online water quality monitoring equipment and ancillary equipment for controlling waste sludge. Electrical switchboards, switchgear and cables, including electrical cable reticulation on site. Grouting in of pipes through walls, grout base plates of mechanical equipment to concrete plinths. Area lighting. The exact GPS co-ordinates are currently not available, however the GPS marker has been placed at the Lethabong Library 25°25'18.5"S 27°50'24.9"E
