About this development
Breeze Power wishes to develop the Lesotho Highlands Power Project in Lesotho. The development will be delivered in three phases over the next 10 to 15 years with the first phase consisting of a wind farm. The project will harness wind and water from Lesotho's Maluti mountains to produce power. The electricity would be sold to South Africa, with Lesotho already connected to the Eskom power grid. Estimated project value : US$15 billion.
