About this development
Design and construction of a new greenfields seaports and lekki seaports, multi-use, deep-water port, 60km east of Lagos in Nigeria, West Africa. The ports will cover an area of 90ha and form an integral part of the new 220ha Lagos Free Trade Zone. The ports will be developed in phases. The project will entail the development of core marine infrastructure consisting of a 1500m long main breakwater, 6km long approach channel, 14.5m in depth, a 1500m long quay and associated cargo handling equipment. Project Site coordinates are 4°00'E, 6°25' N in Lekki Peninsula.
