About this development

The project area covers the Leinster Basin, an erosional outlier of the Kalahari Manganese Field, which is the largest metallogenic province of manganese mineralisation in the world. Leinster is located 20 km north of Aquila Resources’ Avontuur project, which is also an erosional outlier of the Kalahari Manganese Field and hosts a resource compliant with the JORC code of 108.9Mt at 39% Mn. The deposit lies at an average depth of 80m and is envisaged to be a small underground operation with ore trucked or railed to port for the export market.
