About this development
Construction of the Last Mile Connectivity Project II in Kenya. The project is aimed at extending low voltage system throughout the country so as to reach counties with low penetration rates and is expected to connect an estimated 300 000 customers lying within transformer protection distance which will result in providing electricity access to approximately 1 500 000 people. It is envisaged that this will result in accelerated economic growth at the micro economic level in line with the Government’s vision 2030. The Government Kenya has received a loan from the African Development Bank to finance the Last Mile Connectivity Project II.
