About this development

Construction of the Kyondoni - Kitamwaki water project in Kitui west, Kauwi, Kenya. Value of the project is KSh 14.7 million (R 1 830 665.97). Scope of works could include: borehole drilling, test pumping, and water quality analysis, followed by solar power installation and equipping. Transmission lines will be constructed to pump water from the borehole to an elevated tank, with a distribution line from the proposed tank site at Kyondoni to Kitamwiki, a branch line to the existing masonry tank at Kaluni, another branch line to the proposed water kiosk at Kwa Tilivo, and connections to other schools and public institutions. A 50m³ elevated steel tank will be built to provide storage capacity, and water drawing points will be established through the construction of water kiosks. The exact GPS location is not known and the Marker has been placed at Kaluni Secondary School, 0°08'13.0"N 34°41'47.4"E
