About this development
Eskom Holdings Limited proposes the construction of the following electricity transmission infrastructure: 1 x 400kV substation at a site in the Kyalami / Midrand area, in Gauteng; 3 x 400kV transmission power lines looping in and out of the Lulamisa-Bravo 400kV line in the vicinity of the Lulamisa Substation, a distance of approximately 13km depending on the final alignment. Associated works to integrate the substation into the transmission grid, including access roads and a communication tower at the new substation site.
