The Road Development Agency intends to construct/upgrade the 45.5km Kitwe - Chingola Road into a dual carriage way on the Copperbelt Province under the 2012 priority roads up-grading programme using funds provided by the Government of the Republic of Zambia. The scope of works will include among other things: Reconstruction/upgrading of approximately 45.5km road into a dual carriage bituminous standard with asphalt concrete surfacing, drainage structures and related road furniture.
