About this development
The Kinsevere mine stage II development will include the construction of a 60 000 t/y solvent extraction and electrowinning plant, designed to produce London Metal Exchange Grade A guality copper cathode directly at the mine site. The key aspects of infrastructure developed for stage I will be used for stage II. Kinsevere is located 27 km north of Lubumbashi, the provincial capital of the Kantanga province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project cost $400 million.
