About this development
The Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) will upgrade three ports as part of its Ports Master Plan (PMP) that covers the period from 2008 to 2028. The TPA has already invited eligible firms to carry out feasibility studies for upgrade of the three ports at Mbamba Bay, Kigoma and Kilwa. The Kilwa port currently has a modest jetty with a 7 metres depth of water and one warehouse without handling equipment. GPS Co-ordinates: 8° 44' 38" S, 39° 24' 51" E
