About this development
Construction of the Khunab Solar Grid Connection on Portion 3 of the Farm McTaggarts Camp 453; Portion 12 of the Farm Klip Punt 452 and Olyvenhouts Drift Settlement Agricultural Holding 1080 in the Northern Cape. The grid connection solution will include specific grid connection infrastructure to cater for the proposed four (4) individual Khunab and Klip Punt solar PV facilities. The infrastructure to be developed will include the following: Two collector substations; two switching stations and a 132 kV single-circuit power line to connect each solar PV facility to the national grid.
