Construction of Kheis Solar Park 1. Gestamp Asetym Solar South Africa (Pty) Ltd is proposing to establish a commercial Photovoltaic Solar Energy Park with a total generating capacity of 225 MW to be developed in 3 separate phases of 75MW each. The phases are referred to as: Kheis Solar Park 1; Kheis Solar Park 2; Kheis Solar Park 3. The sites are located approximately 70km south-east of Upington, in the Northern Cape. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the marker has been placed on farm Namakwari, 28°31'43.0"S 21°51'29.0"E
