The Kenol-Murang’a road is located in Murang’a County in Kenya and is approximately 30km in length. The project road starts at the junction C71/A2 with Thika- Sagana road (A2) at Kenol town and follows a northerly direction through Sabasaba and Maragwa towns. The road is currently to bitumen standards but has failed in many sections. The road traverses a rolling to mountainous terrain and has several river crossings. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is looking at dualling the Kenol - Murang'a (C71/C73) Roads.
