About this development
Development of the Kawanga Exploration Project in Zambia. The Kawanga project is an identified uranium deposit, previously drill-investigated over a strike length of about 1000 metres. The deposit, one of three, forms part of a larger continued exploration of the prospecting licence area covering 5500 square kilometres on the periphery of the Kabombo Dome, in north-western Zambia. The International Finance Corporation will invest up to $15-million in the equity of Kiwara to help the company explore and develop its mineral deposits.
