Upgrading to bituminous standard of approximately 102 km of the Road D792 Katunda to Lukulu – Watopa – Mumbezhi including 10 kms of urban roads in Kaoma District, Zambia. The scope of work will include among other things: 1. Clearing and grubbing 2. Construction of selected road embankment layers 3. Construction of gravel sub-base 4. Construction of cement stabilised gravel base 5. Construction of graded crush stone base 6. Construction of 19/9.5mm double seal surface dressing 7. Laying of 40mm hot mix asphalt 8. Road markings and traffic signs 9. Provision of guard rails and other ancillary works 10. Installation of drainage structures. Estimated cost: US$ 111.11 million.
