About this development
Construction of 9km of road in bituminous materials, providing access to the KaTembe Sanitary Landfill in Maputo, Mozambique. The route is divided into three sections (Access A, B and C) accounting for a total length of approximately 9050m, with curves with radii varying between 170m and 5000m. The works will include the reconstruction/ rehabilitation of infrastructures affected by the project along the route. The proposed pavement structure will be of the flexible type, consisting of wearing and leveling courses in bituminous mixtures laid on two layers of crushed aggregate of extensive grain size. The works will include the demolition, removal and transportation to the Directorate of Municipal Infrastructure Services (DSMIU) of the Maputo City Council of Construction Waste (Pavê) of the 800m section of the existing road.
