The Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) wishes to develop the proposed Kasanjiku Mini Hydropower Station at Kasanjiku Falls on Kasanjiku River In Mwinilunga District of North -Western province of Zambia. The project site is located on the Kasanjiku River about 15 km north-west of Ntambu Village and 18km upstream of the confluence of the Kasanjiku River with the Kabompo River in Mwinilunga District In North Western Province, approximately 130 km south-east of Mwinilunga Town, Zambia.
