About this development
Construction of the Kasama - Nakonde, Ksama - Mporokoso and Kasama - Kayambi overhead transmission lines and associated substations in Zambia. The brief scope includes among other works the construction of approximately 228km of 330kV single circuit transmission lines and 15km of 400kV double circuit transmission line on steel lattice towers. In addition, the scope includes the construction of a Greenfield 400/330/132kV substation in Nakonde. Further, approximately 340km of 132kV transmission lines with associated distribution substations shall also be constructed from Kasama to link Mporokoso, Chishimba Falls, Mungwi, Malole, Chimba and Kayambi areas.
