Construction of a 300km single circuit 330kV transmission line from Kabwe step-down substation in Kabwe to Pensulo substation in Serenje, Zambia. The scope of works will include but is not limited to: i. Extension of 330kV double busbar at Kabwe Step-down Substation; ii. Installation of a 330kV line bay at Kabwe Step-down substation including associated protection, control and metering systems; iii. Installation of a 60MVAr Shut reactor bay at Kabwe-Step-down substation including protection, control and metering systems; iv. Installation of a 330kV line bay at Pensulo substation including protection, control and metering systems; v. Construction of a 300km single circuit 330kV transmission line from Kabwe Step-down substation to Pensulo substation; and vi. Construction of6 staff houses at Kabwe Step-down substation and 4 staff houses at Pensulo substation. Estimated cost: US$ 134.3 million.
