About this development

Upgrading of the Jimma (A6) Chida (B56) Road. The project is located in the Seka Chekorsa and Dedo Wredas of the Jimma Zone in the Oromia Regional State, and the Konta Special Woreda of the Southern Nations and Nationalities and Peoples Regional State in South Western Ethiopia. The road starts at the junction of Jimma and Mizan Roads on the outskirts of Jimma town which is about 346 km south west of Addis Ababa and end in Chida town. The total length of the road is about 80km. The road will have a 7.0m carriageway and 1.5m and 1.0m shoulder width for escarpment terrains respectively on both sides in rural areas. The contract value is ETB 3,987,391,722.4. (R 1,320,074,710.17)
