About this development
Construction of the remaining works for the Jihur-Deneba-Lemi Megenteya-Guguftu-Wereilu-Degolo Road including the Guguftu-Wereilu-Degolo Road in Ethiopia. Scope of works could include: Upgrading of the 74.4 Km existing unpaved gravel road to a two-lane road with a 7.00m carriageway width. Asphalt concrete (AC) and 1.5m and 0.5m shoulders on flat/rolling and mountainous / escarpment terrains. In the intermediate towns (2 in no.) have 14.0m AC carriageway and parking lane addition of 2.5m side walkway on both sides. There are also 5 small town sections to be constructed in full width of 7.0m and 2.5m walkway each side. This upgrading includes attending 3 bridges (“T” girder type & Slab Bridge), 49 intermediate (Slab / Box culverts) and 139 pipe culverts that are to be widened, replaced or newly constructed as per the contract..
